Being Uncertain About Your Options

Being-Uncertain-About-Your-Options

"How did this happen?"

"I don't know what to do."

"I'm not ready to be a mother."

"I don't know how I feel."

"I'm scared."

"I don't know what I want."

"I feel alone."

When faced with a difficult situation, our emotions can often overwhelm us. These sorts of questions can feel like they are on repeat in our heads. It can be hard to see things clearly, to know what our next steps should be. In fact, you may not even know what next steps are possible. If you are in an unplanned pregnancy and relate to this, know that you are not alone. Feeling overwhelmed and confused about what to do is what many women in your situation go through, especially if you are feeling pressure from someone else.

And this is where Birth Choice can really help you. When you come in for your initial appointment at Birth Choice, we confirm your pregnancy with a Registered Nurse, and then one of our compassionate counselors will spend time with you talking about your particular situation. We work through all of the things that may make you uncertain about your next steps, because we know how important it is to talk things out and be heard in a non-judgmental environment. We can help you to sort through all of the different emotions you may be feeling, look at your options, and come up with the best solution for you - all based off of you. And if you need additional resources - like a place to live, a job, prenatal care, a referral to an adoption agency - we can help you with all of that, too.

We also understand that these emotions, questions, and doubts don't necessarily get resolved after you make a decision. This is why we have an education program and offer ongoing counseling with professional counselors. We care about you and want you to feel supported every step of the way.

You should be treated with dignity, respect, and compassion, and that is exactly what Birth Choice offers. Your visit will be completely confidential, and the care you receive will be non-judgmental. We know that your circumstances may be difficult, and our goal is for you to leave our clinic feeling informed and free.

Call us at 214-631-2402 to schedule your appointment, or schedule online. You can do this.
